    Is cypress ok?
Hey my dad owns a big place with a cypress forest in it (grandpa's lifetime work lol). He told me that I can take a tree and turn it into shaving anytime I wanted if it is safe for the snakes and rats. So, are cypress shedding good for boas, pythons and ratties?

Cypress is good but you might need to bake it or something before using it to kill any bacteria/bugs that might be on it.
Anyone else have any suggestions? Don't use any pieces that are too splintery?
Here's a link to the BP caresheet, if you need some more guidanceL

Some like it. I hated it. the smell gets iritating.... and it simply holds water WAY too much.

Nothing beats newspaper. (full sheets, not shredded)
