    55 Gallon tank display animal?
I am wanting some suggestions on a display reptile that could live in a 55 gallon aquarium? I am wanting to set this up in the near future so I am starting my research. thanks.

Any of the smaller pythons - Irian jayas, male macklott's, or some of the larger colubrids - texas rat snake, beauty snakes, etc

Beardie. They're fine to keep in a taller tank like that, whereas you may have trouble with temps/humidity for snakes.

That being the case...a snake that doesn't need high humidity and is active would also be good, such as larger colubrids (as has been said already). :D

thanks for all the suggestions. I have been researching a bit and am wondering if a red tail Boa would make a good display snake? I know I will need bigger than a 55 but I am willing to get what it needs. so what do you think do BCI's make good displays.
