    Todays Photo shoot..
    Figured since I decided to get some practice in for this herp season, with my camera, that I'd post some shots. Tell me what you think.

    First off, the field herping pics. The "elusive" Garters kept evading me all day. First snake of the day was a DOR Butlers Garter snake...pretty disappointing.

    Second was a Northern Brown female. We found about 2 dozen after this girl....

    I found an almost DOR Eastern Garter yesterday. I was driving my son home from school and saw it in the road. I stopped to move it out of the road and saw it moving. It tried, in vain, to bite me as I picked it up.

    I brought it home - a good sized adult. I realized there was no saving him though. It was a sad moment.
