    New stock, Fresh start...bedding deodorizer?
ive been communicating with a local small animal breeder for a couple weeks and he invited me to come view his setup. i was amazed by how healthy his animals are and how many young his animals produce.

i was talking to him about my rat situation and he told me it would be best to start from scratch instead of trying to medicate the currently sick rats. he said it would cost too much money and take too much time to get them healthy again. he gave me a great deal on 1.3 rats that are 3-4 months old. :D

has anyone used a bedding deodorizer by stable boy? its a powder that you sprinkle down before putting in your bedding. its meant for horses and cat litter but was wondering if i could use it in my rat bedding? its primary purpose is to absorb the ammonia in urine.

it is $12 for a 20kg bag so it may be worth the extra $$$ to use it. i forget what the directions said...
