    Awesome modification to macbook
I don't know how many mac users we have on here but I made an awesome (in my opinion) modification to my macbook pro. I was replacing the top aluminum case because my roommate dented it and thought while I was at it I would see if i could change the color of the apple on the back. What I did was get some of that colored but see through plastic that would be used for something like wrapping up a gift basket. I cut out a square and put it under the white piece that is normally over the apple on the inside of the screen and then put the white back down. Put it all back together and now the apple on the back of my computer is blue. I will put some pictures up if anybody is interested in seeing them. I may try to do the keyboard tonight so the backlight is blue on that too.

Well I will get some pictures up when I can. I made a slight mistake while trying to also make the keyboard backlight blue. So, I need to get a replacement part now. I guess thats what comes with the territory of messing with technology I don't understand. If for some reason you try to do this be very careful if you try to separate the keyboIard from to top case. For doing the apple on the back you will not need to separate the keyboard from the top case. I am just hoping that when the new part gets here I can pop my computer back together and everything will work.

Here is one that was in the dark.

This one was in the light with the lid closed.

And lastly one in the light with the lid open.

Overall I am pretty pleased with the outcome.

It is white normally. I think the blue goes really well with the silver.

Ok the links work now but will probably disappear in a few days because I condensed some accounts on photobucket so here are the new links that will keep working.

This one is with the lid open and lights on in the room.
