Tomorrow will be week 5 from Luna's (at least what I assume was her) pre-lay shed! :please: She's driving me NUTS. She wrapped up with Oberon within about 30 minutes of introducing the two, and they were pretty much continually wrapped up for over a month.
We went out of town in January for a week, and when we came back, there was zero action between the two. We took Obie out, fed him (well, TRIED to feed him) and put him back in and still, nothing. I figured she must have ovulated while we were in Vegas. But she never really sat in a coil or sought the hot side out more than usual. She DID soak for a few days straight, though. When we cleaned her cage out and let her slither back in, we could definitely feel that she had SOMETHING inside of her. Big things, and lots of them!
But this week she's been pacing, and has been in and out of her nest box, coiling and pretending she has something, then sticking her tongue out when I check and find NOTHING. LOL the joys of breeding snakes!
Here's our beautiful Luna:

So I'm hoping, HOPING that my timeline isn't off, she'll lay a nice little clutch (it's her first one) and we'll get them right into our incubator and have lots of snappy little JCP babies soon!
