Transfering Sickness

I was wondering if Boas or Snakes in General can catch same sickness that humans have? i just got over a stomach virus and was wondering if this is something that my new (as in new i mean im getting it 2maro morning) boa could catch?

I seriously doubt it, viruses are host specific
