Need help in finding a rack
    Hi.

I want to get a nice enclosure for all of my snakes but i don't like racks with tubs.
So does anybody know where i could get something different(stackable, showcases whatever) or DIY plans.

    Try this: http://www.blueappleherps.com/page13/page5/page5.html

Designed for two cages, but easily modified for more.

Jeff Ronne makes some nice stackable cages...

He has a huge selection, but!!!!! I must tell you and I am sure others will too, is if you order, BE PREPARED TO WAIT!

    Animalplastics also has stackable caging:

    How do you heat these?
I mean you can't put flexwatt under the wood,or inside the terrarium?

You have to buy a water proof UTH and regulate it with a thermostat. The Zoo Med are water proof as well as "most" other UTH's.

I put flexwatt inside the viv just fine. Seal the connections with silicone, then lay a piece of plexiglass on top and seal that with silicone so that the entire thing is waterproof.

I used a thin piece of vinyl to cover the heat pad... Check out my gallery and youll see some pics of the custom enclosures my father and I built. If you have any questions on it shoot me a PM. The vinyl was like 20$ for a massive roll at lowes and I have plenty left over... I plan on building 3 more cages this summer as I have some 07 females that will need a larger home. I built 4 cages for 400$ total... if you plan on buying plastic ones plan on paying like 300$ for 1... much cheaper to build em yourself... Also the cages we built are extremely easy to clean.
