Finally my pastel ate a rat!

I got my male pastel last October and of all my snakes has been my trickiest snake. All my snakes eat rats, but him. I also breed rats. So going to the store for a little mouse that cost $2.50 wasn't working for me. For the past 4 weeks I have been trying to convert him over.

I finally decided to play hardball. I would offer and if he refused, he would get nothing until next week. I tried EVERYTHING to get him to eat a rat. This week he refused again and I tried something different. I put a Pre-Killed rat pup in there with him over night. To my surprise this morning it was gone! I was estatic. Hopefully he will start putting some weight on. Hes only 270g and he was only 130, when I got him almost 7 months ago.
