    Can anyone identify this insect?
I was at the park today and took these photos:

But I don't know what kind if insect that is. I'm pretty sure it's a butterfly and not a moth or whatever, but I don't know what kind.

Just for fun, here are a few other shots I took.

And I was actually looking for a black racer but didn't see one the whole time... Until I got out to my car and found this sunning itself in front of it. :D

I have lots more if anybody wants to see 'em.

After scrolling through thumbnail photos of 2300 species of moths, I've figured out that it is a "Long-tailed skipper moth". :gj: That was exhausting. -lol-

Oooo, awesome shots!!! I wish it was warm and green here. I also was going to tell you that it was a moth, but you got it. :gj:

pfft, it never drops below 50 here. EVER. I was born and raised here so I can't handle cold weather. If my apartment drops below 74 degrees I'm in 3 layers and a blanket, shivering. :P

Skippers aren't actually moths.. they're closer to butterflies, but different from them as well. They have characteristics of both.

Yup, it's a skipper of some sort, the tips of the antenna are bent which I don't think you see in either butterflies or moths? The blue one is a damsel fly, and then an orb weaver spider of some type. Very pretty spider.
