    Het pied markers accuracy %
OK I've looked through old posts and didn't see anyone giving a very definite answer to this question, so If no one knows, that is ok, but if you can ask yourself this question too, maybe at some future date you can help me answer it.

I pretty much know what the het pied marker is, but my question is this. If this marker occurs on a snake of unknown or wild ancestry, what is the likelihood of it actually being het for pie bald?

Has anyone every bred a snake with excellent markers and it failed to produce against all reasonable odds? and if so what are the percentages of these false het pied markers?

Are all 100% het pied individuals that display the marker indeed het pied? anyone every fail to produce against all reasonable odds?

Do offspring ever occur without the marker from a breeding of homozygous pied with het pied? If the marker is a sure thing that all individuals from such a cross would at least be het pied and should have the marker on the belly.

OK I'm calling out for someone with some experience in breeding pied and het pied individuals here, please. What has been your experience in attempting to breed pied individuals?
