Urgent Help Needed: Wet Mice!!!
Either my water bottle has big problem (it’s not new, I’ve used it for a while, and I check to make sure the bottles don’t drip on its own before I put it back in the tub) or the mice were taking showers. I just found a tub-ful of wet mice with a empty bottle. And some are shivering. What can I do??
I just put them in another dry box and throw in lots of wood shaving, and put a basking lamp on top, hoping to dry them.
Any suggestion?
Thanks a million.
Re: Urgent Help Needed: Wet Mice!!!
Never put heat on mice, it will overheat and kill them pretty quickly.
What type of tub was it? Does it have plenty of ventilation?

Thanks, I removed the lamp.
It was a wooden rack with table-busing tub, about 20" x 15" x 6" tall. Ventilation should be Ok since I have it in a semi-open area.
Some are back to normal now, but still a few with wet fur and shaking, should I use towel to dry them?

You can use a fan on low to blow some air around and dry them off.

Thanks Becky.
Will they be OK after drying off? Or would there be any health risk after having wet fur? Anything I need to watch out for?
