    Hollow Core Rack
    This is the new adult rack I finished this week. Instead of melamine, this one is made out of hollow door blanks as described here.

    It fits 8 41qt 1960 tubs (the plans go as high as 11 - I wanted a shorter rack), and with the stain, almost fits in with the furniture.

    How does using the door blanks affect the end weight compared to the standard melamine?

    This idea may stop my downstair neighbours roof sagging. :giggle:
