    bp sleep questions
i was wondering if my bp was supposed to sleep all day long.the reason im asking is that sometimes during the day i will check on him and his head is visible and hes looking out.and sometimes he will poke his head out.its only a rare occasion that i notice this the other times hes all curled up in there.im used to my bearded sleeps like a rock and i wasnt sure if bps are the same way.o i also have a really stupid question.can bps move backwards kinda like in reverse lol i dont know why but i have been thinking on that one. thanks

Furio sometimes pokes his head out to survey to but a happy ball python is one that's sleeping or hiding.
They did a study on Ball Python's out in the wild and out of a 31 day month they were out of their dens a total of 48 hours during those 31 days.

Also I don't think I've ever seen a snake move in reverse. Unless you count re-coil.

Furio will actually sleep with his head out of his hide and the rest of his body in it sometimes.

Can't really. They don't have eyelids.
But it's a safe bet unless they're moving around alot that they're sleeping.

My BP rarely pokes his head out, and its usually at night if he does. Usually he is completely inside the hide with his head facing the opening.
