I really have to cut this out!
Well we are getting another girl tomorrow. She is an 06 Matrix line blond pastel. She is currently in shed and I hope to update later with a picture after her shed. We think we will call her Anise. We have some plans forming in our head for her! I wonder what a pewter would look like using a blond pastel instead of normal pastel! ;)

Here is the picture we got from the breeder, Hellfire Reptiles.

Well he had three and she was the most expensive due to being significantly lighter than the other two and she is reduced pattern. I'm not sure if reduced pattern is a trait that can be passed on genetically, but it might also be fun if she produced a male blond pastel that we could breed back to her and see if the reduced pattern shows in the off spring. Also my wife and I are trying to make sure everything we get has the best quality we can find so that whatever we breed will hopefully mirror the parents qualities, even though it has put a hurtin on the credit card! :8:

Great pickup! I was just checking out their website and they have some really nice pastels and the prices are pretty good. You made a really nice choice:)

All that and we bought an 04 1500+ gram normal female from him a ways back and she has been a wonderful girl for us. Eats good and is easy for my wife to handle, but wants to bite the heck out of me for some reason! :tears: He has a couple others listed on kingsnake along with this one that are cheaper, but just glancing at the pictures we knew which one we wanted.

So now we have the following Pastel genes.
    Graziani Pastel
Nerd Lemon Pastel (in our bumblebee)
    Matrix Blond Pastel
    Cinnimon Pastel

I think we have enough Pastel genes to play with and need to get some additional pattern morphs as we only have Spider and Piedbald to play with.
