New Set-up

I have had him now for over a year & 1/2 now. I have been changing some things around and have improved somethings in his encosure based on some information the board has given me.

First of i covered the under side of the tank in alum. foil to help increase the heat of the tank and be able to remove the light.


I am concerned about covering the UTH in Alum foil. Does this not create a fire hazard due to excess heat?

Hi,

Just to double check.... all that tape is on the outside of the tank yes?

1. Whats the bottle with the hose sticking in the tank for?
2. Is it just a 2 liter bottle with a hose ran to it?
3. What is it purpose?

1. Yes all the tape is on the outside.
2. The bottle is a humidifier that i made to try and increase humidity some without having to spray the tank 50 times a day.

Hey one thing you might want to check into. Your heat lamp If you can get another dome. One that doesn't have the plastic base on it. With the lamp being upside down. Alot of the heat goes into that plastic and can melt it. Could be a fire hazard.
