Why Thank You! Boredom at work does wonders for creative outlets.

2.) For me, it depends on the species and the age. I usually only keep them together when breeding them, or when they are newly born babies, they spend the first few weeks hanging out together.

If you're in Central Ca. I'm guessing you're somewhere near Modesto. East of you and a bit north, if I recall, is a place called French Camp.
There are some of the prettiest Garter Snakes I've ever seen to be found up there.
They are interesting snakes.
