    Feeding night for two
Wednesday is feeding night here, and was the first with both BPs. Jabba, the adult normal, hadn't eaten in two weeks. He skipped week 1 because I tried going back to a rat, and he apparently prefers mice, and the second week was because of shed.

I prescented his tub like always, put in mouse #1 and he nailed it. As I'm sure most of you have experienced, the return of his aggressive feeding response brought a smile to my face. (He ended up eating 3)

While he was finishing up, I offered the new snake a mouse. Jango (the new guy) did not come out hunting, but it was the first time he's been prescented, so I thought I'd try anyway. Seconds after the mouse entered his tub, I saw this (relatively) tiny head emerge from the hide, retract a bit, and just pound the mouse.

Anyway, it seems like there are a lot of threads about problems and whatnot, so I thought I'd share one with a happy ending....

unless you're a mouse who was living in my basement prior to this evening :D
