    Blue Apple Herps
    No lock up on first try, how long until I try again?
    I put my pastel male with a female and I didn't observe any locks (had them together 3 days). I separated them last week and fed them over the weekend. How long should I wait until I try to pair them up again?

    Give them a couple days to absorb thier meals and go at it again;).Now remember just because you dont see them "playing" does not mean they are not "playing" while your asleep :8:

    I was told by someone that after a meal females more appealing to males.... Also keep your eye on the weather channel for low pressure systems and such. Changing weather is always a great stimulant for bp's, otherwise good luck.:gj:

    I usually leave mine together for 4-5 days, and then separate and offer both food. And then bring them back together in another 2-3 days.

    If she is not cycling or your male is young they will not be very interested in each other, but you can still keep trying;)

    Some snakes are picky with who they will be with so that plays into it too.
