I have 6 on each of the long sides and 4 on the shorter sides. Will probably add 2 more on each side in few days seeing as the humidity is always at 70%

The number of holes is going to depend entirely on your environment - whether you live in a dry or humid area. Start with a few holes all around, and put a water dish in and let it sit for 24 hours. If your humidity is too high, add more holes and measure again. It's far easier to be conservative to begin with and add more holes later than it is to go overboard with holes and realize you have far too many that you'll need to cover back up somehow.

What kind of rack? Some don't need any holes at all.

    What kind of substrate?

Do you live in a humid area or dry?

Is it 50-60 with a waterbowl in there? If not, try adding one and see how much it jumps up.
