Re: cage opinions
A lot of cage there and he will obviously take less money.

Re: cage opinions
Its really tall, the floorspace is fine but getting basking and uvb setup would be difficult.

A mercury vapor bulb would work perfect in that enclosure

Re: cage opinions
Do you guys think I should go for it and begin to haggle?

Re: cage opinions
I feel that's a good price for a cage like that, especially if he'll go lower. I'd say go for it and give it a try. Set it up for a test run before you place the beardie in it. It couldn't hurt. If it doesn't work, it could be a good cage for another animal.

Re: cage opinions
Thanks guys and gals. I sent an email. I figured if it doesn't work, it gives me another reason to get another herp! :D

Re: cage opinions
Or just drop the light down on a pole. Or again even better take a peice of Melamine or another wood, Cut it to size, put it inside, and make it 2, 2ft high vivs, or maybe storage below.
Anyway, no matter what if you can get it cheap, then im sure you can find a use for it, May take a few modifications, but definitally not difficult.
Edit: I have a 5x2x2 with a 5x2x2 stand, looking at it now, a tad tall all together, but maybe make it 2.5 ft with a 1.5ft of storage, or a 5x2x2 will work great. Gives some good space for my dragon.
