    phoenix worms
So recently I have been feeding my bearded dragon phoenix worms. While they are small, they are healthy and he really likes them.

I was wondering why phoenix worms aren't popular. It seems like the pros outdo the cons. They can be a healthy staple for reptiles, amphibians and others. If you could clear this up I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There is only one store within 50 miles that carries them, and they are expensive. Thats why they are not popular for me! lol

Phoenix worms are a fairly new feeder insect and a lot of people just aren't aware of them yet. Because of this they also aren't as available as the everyday feeders like crickets and mealworms. I personally think they are the about best feeder insect you can get and my geckos certainly do not disagree!

ALOT! I can even imagine how many, and if the numbers below 100 your not feeding it enough! they are great, but small and cost more. Id just go with silkworms and call it a day!
