day 26

ok so im on day 26 since my females pre lay shed. I can't stand it, I need to see some eggs. im now spending more time in my snake room than in my house I think. how do you guys deal with it. right now I check on here about every 3 hours during the day, right before I go to bed, and as soon as I wake up. I sneak in and shine a flashlight on its dimmest setting into her tub so I'm fairly sure im not stressing her out. how often do you chek your females that are close to laying? thanks everyone. :please:

lol I know how you feel. I am on day 15 and I am going crazy. Think you only have 4-10 days left to go :)

It gets worse! I had a few go 56 days before.. Talk about sweating? But, I've learned to just let them do what they do! Good luck...

56!!!!! its like im 8 years old and waiting for christmas again.

If she is coiled she will most likely lay soon. Just wait until they are cooking. That's when you really get impatient!!! I had a BIG girl lay yesterday right on day 25. My first clutch is due on the the 5th and has started to collapse. It could be a REALLY sweet hatch. I am not going to cut. I am not going to cut. I am not going to cut...

she lays in a really loose coil most of the time, but usually with the head inside and tail on the outside. she has seemed more active recently but im also in the room at night a lot more now so maybe its just a nighttime thing?

I have a female thats on Day 14 doing the exact same thing and hugging the heat.

ok i just checked her she is in a tighter coil tail in the center and I swear the ridge on her back doubled from earlier today! I mean it has been noticable for over a week now but geeze it is really noticable now. i would take pics but i don't want to stress her out.

I just had one go 70 days!!!! Talk about pulling hair out!!!
