    Amusing but weird behavior
I have a large 3-level cage I keep recovering mothers and their female offspring, and smaller females in...and I have a very large water bottle on it. For some reason any time one rat goes over to get a drink, all of the others RUN over there and mob them and all of them fight over who gets a drink!!! So there'll be this huge pile of rats all trying to drink out of he thing at once!!!

They can't be THAT thirsty--it's always kept full, and I know that it puts plenty of water out...any idea why they do this? The other cages have the same water bottles but none of them do it. Do yours do that?
