My buddy Seth just took the big step from 2 large mice every 5 days to a small rat. I was so proud of him. As usual we prescented and then put the rat in and as the rat was falling from the tongues Seth struck and had him coiled. I don't think the rat ever touched the bottom of his cage. He is a great guy that is easy to handle, but his feeding responce is great. :gj:
Now I'm just wondering since he was eating 2 large mice every 5 days and has now went up to a small rat should I still feed him every 5 days or should we span him out to every 6 to 8 days for now?
He is just over 600 grams and is a 2006 born male. (Double Het VPI Snow)
