Transamerican Love Story... Calpernia

Does anyone else watch this show?

I find it absolutely heartwarming, and I really like it for what it is.

Basically, a transsexual woman is being persued by a group of males, basically the same as any reality show along the lines of "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire."

The woman in question is a very highly esteemed transsexual woman named Calpernia Addams. She lives here in Hollywood, and is a spokesperson for the GLBT community.

Calpernia was also in Transamerica with Felicity Huffman, who was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress in 2006.

Is anyone else familiar with the show or the movie, and what did you think?

OMG! I checked out her site and I absolutely love her! I love her segment on Bad Questions. Not to mention, she is gorgeous!

Wow, how have I not seen this show? What channel does it air on?

One of my closest friends is trans, I knew him before he transitioned and now when I look at him, you'd never know he wasn't a boi guy!

I also see nothing wrong with it :)

It's on LOGO, which is the GLBT network on cable...

Totally worth watching... Really. :)

oh man, I don't get logo anymore. I have the cheapest cable now lol

That used to be one of my favorite channels along with showtime, I miss the L Word something terrible! lol

I don't get even regular cable. I had to watch L-Word from a friend who got the channel. We had L-Word parties!

Thats funny, because thats what used to happen here. All my friends used to come watch it at my place!

I hope to get caught up on bills soon so I can have my channels back! hehehe

I hear it's getting good, something about tina and bette getting back together. But.. dont tell me anymore, I didn't even want to know that LOL Gotta see it for myself hehehe
