Our Two Biggest Females

I was just checking all the breeding females last night and snapped a couple of quick shots of our two biggest girls.

This one is Orlah who is a proven breeder (she's a bit over 2,400 grams). We are still introducing our YB to her as we haven't witnessed a lock but then it's possible they snuck one or two in on us. She looks bigger to me and is constantly on her cool side lately. She's also normally a super friendly, inquisitive type of adult but right now she could care less about humans and doesn't even bother to turn her head to keep an eyeball on me or Mike.

This is the biggest female, Brannagh, who has locked numerous times with our male YB, Riordan. She's also hanging out on the cool side a lot this week and definitely looks heftier to my eyes. She's a good sized female (3,400 grams plus).

Her tail end looks sort of funny. Is this the "tail suck" thing I've read about?

Those are awesome big girls. I was impressed the first time I held our 1800+ gram girl. She was hard to hold still while giving injections for an RI, I couldn't imagine if I had to hold a 3000+ gram girl and give it injections.

Thanks we do love our hefty momma's! :D They were both pet store finds a few years back. I wouldn't want to wrangle big Ms. B if she was in a mood. I'm 5'1" and she's pretty much almost as long as I am tall. We tried to measure her last year but she was having none of it. :rolleyes:

They are such nice healthy girls.

Ms B. is always going to be a crowd pleaser isn't she? Cannot wait to see her babes *fingers crossed*
