    Egg problems please help
    My JCP just layed 20 eggs I did all the right things all ready had my Juragon incubator ready and running with the hatchrite substrate set up the temp was at 89 degrees F and the humidity was at 90 percent I took the eggs out all as one they were stuck togeather so I left them that way and set them in the incubator now 1 week later temp still the same and humidty still at 90 percent the eggs have start to collaps I have done al of my research and tried everything no signs of mold has started and I dont know if they are dead but I dont know where to go from here is there something else I can try is there something that I am missing I put a second themomator to check the temp and humidity and it is right on the money please help if possible I hope its not to late. Also has anyone else used this incubator?

    Is your substrate still moist? does it clump when you squish it together? I am not familiar with JCP eggs but reptile eggs in general can look pretty funky and still hatch fine. If they were dead they would mold with a week or two. All eggs will wrinkle as the closer to hatching (2-3 weeks before). Check substrate(make sure it's not dried out) and make sure the tubs are sealed up so they aren't getting any breeze or strong airflow on them and caising them to dry up.

    I would also check th esubstrate to make sure you have enough moisture.

    Your eggs are not dead. When and if you start to see blue and green on them, it means that the egg(s) is dead and the gram- bacteria have taken over.

    I am useing Hatch right as the substrate I thought it was good and yes it is moist should I add something to the hatch right substrate?

    Did you candle the eggs at all? I know they were all stuck together and unable to separate, I don't know if it's possible to put a mag lite up to one on top or something and make sure they have those veins.

    That is what I am going to try today I will let everyone know the results.
