I feel like a true BP person now

I went to the St. Louis reptile show today just looking for cages (picked up a big Vision cage for $90) and other supplies when this cute little female captured my attention. I don't have pictures uploaded yet, I will update this tomorrow with the pictures but I'm very tired and it's almost too hard to plug in the camera. :oops: The reason I purchased her was to go with this male I found online that I just have to have. He has a nearly perfect stripe with only one break in it. Since I can't afford true stripes, this is the next best thing. I think they'll both complement each other well, and it will be exciting to see what they can do next year. :) I've become a true BP person, I have my first dinker project. :)

Again, I will have pictures tomorrow, I'm just too tired tonight.

I'm kinda stuck on 11 right now as we are trying to start the rat colony right now. The food bill for 11 ball pythons get expensive if you have to keep buying mice/rats every week. Also they never seem to have the size you want or if you ask for one size they bring you another. :mad:

I buy from a guy that comes to the shows every two months. It's much easier than getting take out for them every week. Plus, I'm sure my bill would be double what it is now. Although, I do feed f/t so that helps but I do keep several cages of breeder mice and I now have a few rats that should start breeding soon. I do love having a full freezer though. :)

Here she is in all her cuteness. :) I'm calling her Violet. Not only do I love her striping, but she's got some really nice coloring I think. It's hard to explain, but she's just got very warm tones to her.
