What thermostat?

OK first of all LAMP DIMMERS SUCK!! I need to buy a thermostat. Is the Helix, Ranco or Herpstat usable with 2 tanks? Meaning can I buy one thermostat and use it to regulate the temps in seperate tanks? I have one 20 gal and one 10 gallon. And if so tell me what I need to order.

I believe a Herpstat 2 is what you would need. Or buy (2) Herpstats, or Helix.

Thats what Im going to end up doing (the herpstat 2) if I can't get my boyfriend to make me something. (hes in home automation)

I'd go with the Herpstat II or you may even go for the pro. If you got the bug and think snakes are on the way then the extra 2 channels will come in really handy and only costs about 100, you can't buy a good single channel proportional T-stat for $100.00!

Buy a herpstat.

To regulate 2 enclosures you need to have the same type of enclosures and same size/wattage UTH for both.

Otherwise you need 2 thermostats or you can get the herpstat 2 or pro.
