Is she in her pre-lay shed?
I have a female ball who ive been breeding and two days after her last lock with the male she went into shed so I took out my male and shes been in shed for about a week and a half. And shes been coiling up in a perfect coil the whole time. She barely moves around. You guys think shes pregnant?

How long have you been breeding them, cuz if this is her first lock definately not the her pre-lay shed.

For about a week. They locked up like 3 or 4 times.

I am definately no expert but from what i have learned this year i would say it is not her pre lay yet, you still have awhile before your prelay shed comes. Im assuming she has been eating upto the point when you started breeding her and its just a growth shed, you can start feeling for follicles and see if you have any and would be able to make a guess whether she has ovulated yet, but would definately say that if you have only been breeding a week and this is her pre lay all the eggs will be infertile.

Can I feel for follicles while shes in shed?

If she was just locked with a male - then she has not ovulated yet and therefore is not gravid - least that is the general rule - they don't mate after ovulation. :gj:

What do you mean by "If she was just locked with a male"? Do you mean I have to throw in another male to lock up with her? And if shes not gravid and shes in shed should I wait until she finishes shedding to throw in the male again, or do I put him in now? And can I check for follicles while shes in shed?

Prelay shed comes about 21 days after ovulation (which is when she becomes gravid and will stop mating) if she was just locked with a male a week ago - then she likely didn't ovulate 21 days ago and therefore is not gravid and having her prelay shed. Keep pairing her up until you see ovulation or she stops mating.

Yes - you can pair her up with a male while in shed or wait - doesn't really matter if they are in the mood they'll lock. You can also check for follicles while in shed if you want - or wait. :gj:
