    The Filly I am Training
This is Candy aka Sugar's Mini Bar, out of Easy Pure pride by Sugar's Oak
Bar who goes back to Sugar Bars and Doc Bar. She is the filly I have been assigned to since this last Fall, and I have been training her in my Colt Training class at CSU. She belongs to Purina Mills Farms (they breed to do research on their feeds). Right now she is walk, trot, cantering relaxed with a soft mouth. We are working on more forward motion into our turns when steering, and riding over poles. She is starting to learn turn on the haunches too. She is 2 years old and 14 hands high. However, she makes up for her lack of height in stoutness lol.

I have trained her from the ground up. I was the first person to saddle her and the first person to ever ride her. She will be sold in April at the Legends of Ranching sale.

Yes,s he is TINY! remember, Sugars "Mini" Bar:

With the lack of height it wouldn't suprise me if she caught a cutters eye. They like their short horses. Then again, my best horses haven't been over 15 hands. :)

Gorgeous! I am nuts about Doc Bar (he's my mare's grandsire.) She looks very trusting and you've done a great job just from the photo of you with her that I see :)

Thanks...she is VERY trusting..in fact, she'd curl up in your lap if you'd let her. Every morning I come into the barn she whinnies for me and nickers when she sees me. Very cute girl.

I know several people that have AQHAs that aren't over 14 hands... nothing wrong with that! She's got a really sweet face... Props for all your hard work! :D
