How fast do female ball pythons grow? Help identify?
Okay heres the deal, I have a baby female ball python thats about 6 months. I know females tend to grow a little faster. I was just wondering if I feed it once a week and with the proper requirements, how fast does she grow about annually? About many feet a year?

I was wondering if mine is a normal? I bought it at the pet store, the owner didn’t exactly check it. But it has some nice bright yellow colors in real life hard to see in this shot, was wondering if it can be something else?

    Welcome to the forum!

Yes, you have a normal Ball, but it's a very nice looking snake. :) A Balls growth rate depends on a number of factors, primarily quantity/frequency of food and genetics. If given an adequate sized meal once a week you can expect your snake to gain around 600 grams a year, but it can vary widely. He/She should approach their adult size in about 3 years which should be anywhere between 3-5 feet and 1000-3000 grams. Snake sizes are just as diverse as people. ;)
