Do Snake Fights

Ive seen many people with pics with a couple of their balls on each other. So my question is...wil they ever fight?

Can you ever have 2 snakes that dont like each other?


and more importantly can you keep more than one snake together??

Highly not recomended. Bp's like to be by themselves. They are really anti-social. 2 may get along for a bit but not a good living arangement at all. Just see the general care sheets on this site..

Ok Thank you! but is it safe to put them togeter for like pics?

I've occasionally placed two of my snakes together for a quick photo shot. These are snakes, though, that have both passed through a quarantine time, are healthy, etc. and it's for only a few moments and under supervision. The only other time our snakes are together is adults for breeding purposes.

Housing ball pythons together isn't generally recommended for a variety of reasons, some of them being - possible domination by one snake on the other for available resources, risk of cannabalism, inability to determine which snake is sick if you see evidence of illness (loose feces, etc.), spread of disease, mites, etc.

You see...when a boy python and a girl python love each other very much...

EDIT: Just to clarify, I was assuming he was referring to breeding pictures ;)

I was holding 2 balls, whilst my partner cleaned out a tub and i had one i each hand and one of them struck at the other! totally unexpected and took me by suprise, especially as they were both calm snakes!

However i did see on a program 2 snakes fighting, i cant think for the life of me what they7 were, they were venemous,
