Yeah, she looks very cute and today was the very first day that I was brave enough to hold her! I took the role of a big weenie because when I got her she came out of the bag hissing and biting and scared the daylight out of me!!! Jimi and Diana and Jo and and *everyone* gave me lots of advice and guidance and stuff and I've done everything that they advised. However, today when Jimi shot a little dare my way...well... I needed to live my dream and hold her; regardless of fear of bites. What can I say? Zelda was amazing- no hissing, no tagging, not even an s-shaped warning!! I am so lucky!!!

Good for you in holding her!! One of my BPs was like that, when she arrived and after I got her out of the bag she was in, she basically wouldn't stop hissing...LOL!! She still gets to be a little moody, but I still love her to death!!

I am glad that your first time holding her went really well!!!:)

Mine has been just a darling since I brought him home. I got him out tonight to check his cage for "POO" and change the water and noticed he was more on edge, more S shape postering even when I held him so I was carefull around his head. He settled down but when I put him back in the cage, he stayed in the S and moved faster than usual. I decided to feed again even though its only been 3 days since his last small fuzzy F/T rat. He gulped it down. Hopefully he was just hungry. I hope yours settles down with a feed or two and I hope mine does not turn into a pissy little man. From what I have noticed so far, these snakes have a definite mood to them and they seem pretty easy to read their posture and movements to predict their mood and temperment.

    Nice snake for sure.
