    Wet spot on Egg
OK...This is my 4th clutch and I hadn't seen this happen before. Note the wet spot on the top egg.

The background - sealed egg boxes, near 100% humidity, laid 3 days ago, no condensation near this egg (some on the box sides but minimal), incubation temp 87.5. All eight eggs candle fertile.

Any ideas why this is happening? Is it an issue? How to fix?

    Thanks in Advance

Your substrate on the left looks really wet... Is that hatchrite? (havent used it before). I have had that happen before and most of the time its nothing...

Thanks Jon...no it is just peralite and water (I use the substrateless method). It is just from the box being moved once the box is settled in the incubator again is settles back under the grate.

I will keep an eye on the egg...the spot has grown any more (this spot appeared on day 1) I was just worried since it is the top egg thought something might be up with it.

Just make sure its not condensation dripping from the lid of the tub. Sometimes they have windows like that.

Yea that was my first thoughts too....but there isn't any near this egg so I ruled it out...but it looks like the egg got wet...strange...wanted to see if others might have seen this too.

Looks like a window to me.. the one in the back looks like it is getting the same thing? I had it happen once and used liquid bandage on it. It worked Great. I read that from a post Sean from ebn posted years ago. But if I remeber right some brands should not be used.. Give Sean a call or email see what he says.
    Good luck!
