New to the Forums. My Cali King.
Hey all. I just bought a BP two days ago as my second snake but i've had a Cali King for over 2 years now, got him as a baby at PetCo.

He's been the best. Never missed a meal, never had a bad shed, always curious and moving around. The best part about him is his personality though!

He has NEVER once snapped or bitten me in the years i've had him. He's a great snake!

Here's a picture of him. He's around 30 inches now, fat and very strong.

Just one question. I help my BP for about 5 minutes, then washed up, twice, and then held my Cali King. I noticed my Cali smelling me a real lot and then seemed to get agitated! He went into an almost defensive striking mode. Put him back in the cage and he settled down. Their cages are apart and they can't see eachother.

Just a bit worried, he's been great so far, is he becoming territorial or something?

    Thanks and Hi!
