I *wish* I had that excuse... I had to wade through that garbage to get to work this morning!!!! (My snow drift is about the same height)... I wonder who got more snow... Toronto or Kitchener... I know our Kitchener techs at work got pulled off the road 2 hours before TO....

On my walk to the bus terminal I saw 3 buses stranded from last night that got stuck in the middle of the road, and it took Adam an hour and a half to go the 15 minute drive from work home last night.... It's garbage. I'll try and get a photo of the front of my building on my way home! LOL

My work NEVER closes... I'm not even kidding.. They stayed open all night last night even though the buses had been stuck and stopped showing up and everyone got stranded.

That's why I like unions...My bf had the same problem but after he tried to get out of my driveway and simply couldn't , its not like he had a choice to drive in or not. His work was very reluctant to accept that explanation and I was very angry that they would not let him leave last night early when 4 others that live near us left early because of the storm. Its very irresponsible of these business's to stay open and risk employee's lives to make a couple hundred dollars extra.

Well, we're *allowed* to leave if we're worried about conditions, but really.... You just know it will end up being held against you in the long run since you stayed open.

I was lucky, I had a migraine again yesterday and called in sick anyway.
