Black Pastel

Here's a question for you folks. Who do you think, in your personal opinion, produces the best Black Pastels out there. I'm thinking of a really nice contrast look. When searching sites I've seen quite a few really dark Black Pastels but only a few that really have the contrast we're hoping for.

This is a morph Mike and I want very much to add to our collection in 2008 so we're starting our breeder search now by asking the best people we know for some recommendations. We'd love to buy from a BPNet member. :)

I just talked to Heather, you know Heathers Herps, and she said that she may be breeding a bunch of them this year so you may want to talk to her. On the net, I see them every once in a while here and there on KS and what not but nothing that has knocked me over.

I'm not sure about black pastels as I am currently working with cinnys. I like the blushing and chocolate color better then that of the black pastels, although i will be picking one up this year or next. From the pick jas posted though, heathers look great.

Ohhhhh thank you for the suggestions and those gorgeous pictures. This is sort of Mike's pet project so I know he'll be thrilled to see these great examples of one of his favorite morphs. In our house I'm all about the lighter morphs and Mike is focusing on the darker ones. :)

I like VPI's black satin. I have one I'm trying to hook up with my big black back female.

In my opinion the VPI's are the blackest.

Heathers are nice too:)
