A little concerned about my baby cresties and their eating
Hi, i have a baby crestie that doesnt seem to be eating enough, i try feeding crickets (dusted of course) and that works, but it will only eat about 4 per week. I also have a mixture of baby food cgd and vitamin powder available in the cage at all times. I have two of the cresties in a vertical 10 gallon cage. The other one eats out of the baby food/cgd when i hand feed him, the other just jumps in it and makes a mess of it, haha. Any advice, i know they have small stomachs, but he looks visually skinny, i want him to be a nice and healthy gecko because we all know that is the best kind!!!

    Thanks a lot guys

Don't mix any vitamin powder in with the CGD and only mix in baby food if you absolutely have to. I would advise not using baby food at all, and hand feeding the plain CGD until they take it on their own.

Are both geckos the same size? How old are they?

Try handfeeding them plain CGD every 2-3 days for 2 weeks. If they are not both eating it by that time, separate the one that isn't eating it into a small kritter keeper and continue to hand feed him until he eats it on his own. Sometimes they start slow and sometimes a larger or more dominate cage mate prevents them from eating.
