Ok, i'm a first year breeder, and my snake laid eggs earlier than I was expecting. I was still waiting for her to shed when suddenly I've got a few beautiful eggs to take care of. Thankfully I have an incubator but I do not have any vermicilite and every pet store in town is sold out of hatch rite. what I am asking is, is there any way to keep the humidity up in the incubator? I have been told wet rags on the opposite side, water on the bottom, as long as the eggs don't touch the water I'm fine. The incubator is small, about two shoeboxes big. If you have any tips please let me know.
