He finally ate! Give him another mouse?

I'm so happy, my snake finally ate. After 3 weeks of him not eating and 2 tries with small F/T rats. I then decided to get him a live mouse. He took it without any hesitation and since I've putted him back in his enclosure he's been roaming around, could he still be hungry?

My bp eats 3 live mice in a feeding. After the first 2, he stays out in hunting mode, sniffing around for more mice. After the 3rd, he retreats to his hide, apparently content and done hunting.

In short, I'd offer another.

should I buy 2 mice for next feeding or just feed more often?
cuz either he's movin around and sniffing or he's in his hide with his head out on the lookout...

I'd say just give two each feeding...that's what I do with my smaller BP.

It depends what the size/weight of the snake and the mouse.
You usually get a better feeding response with live:gj:

bought another mouse yesterday, another successful feeding Yay!

This thread has made me think mine might be hungry more often now. So I will attempt another feeding today.

Mine did the same thing, I just fed him a bigger rat and that helped.
