    My adopted BP
Well this is the guy we went to get, thinking he was a Red Tail...but when we got there we found him. We've had him for a couple of weeks or so and I just had him out today for his first real handling session. He's a doll. I am just in love with him.

    Just lookin cute...

Question though, while I had him out I saw this strangish looking stripe down his neck. What does it look like to you guys? Old shed that came off wrong? Or just a weird mark? There's no scarring or roughness to the area at all.

It goes down to about his third dorsal marking. Anyone seen this on their snakes?

Anyway, I just love this guy. Today has just been a snakey love day, I've gotten all my babies out for a bit of a roam and some cuddle time. Seriously, how can anyone not like snakes? I just don't get it.

Spix, my Mojave shed recently and I noticed he has a very pale dorsal stripe now. He could have done something to his scales while he was in the shedding process. I have heard that the scales can become damaged easily when the snakes are in shed.

Yea, that's what I figured it was. Just thought I'd see if anyone else had seen this.
