    Looking out in the summer time *pic*
    Thought I would share one of my other hobbies with you all :)

    Here is an image I took up in the mountians here in colorado back in 07. All I did was piggyback my digital SLR and 24mm lens (I think?) on my telescope and open the shutter for a little bit (I think a minute). Its got some odd colors, mostly the orange and that would be light pollution spilling over from Denver and other nearby cities. Its some other colors in it too that are a bit odd. If I can locate the raw file, I can try to re-edit the photo.

    Anyway, this is the center of the Milky way, Sagittarius...

    Hope you all enjoy the view, I sure did :)

    Beautiful picture. I live in a populated area now with a lot of light pollution and don't get out to the country much anymore, and seeing the stars ... really seeing the stars just doesn't happen for me.

    I don't believe I've ever personally seen the Milky Way. Beautiful picture - thanks for sharing!
