First feed...success???

We got our bp, Monti a week ago, and attempted our feed tonight. She struck at it, and is now trying to eat it sideways! It's a little funny looking!

We've got her in the dark downstairs, leaving her alone to sort it out.

She will, won't she? lol!

sure she will :) they find strange ways to eat :gj:

As long as they are trying to eat they will find a way to get it down if you leave them alone. Don't worry it will happen. Good Job on getting her to eat!

i find that usually happens to me if i dont heat it up properly. they seam to eat best if you have the head the hottest part. that is how it naturally is in real life, ever seen in infrared camera? BP's see in IR as well

She got it down...and you can already tell that's she's feelin' fat & happy. She's all curled up in her warm-side hide, and good to go.
