new rack and ? about shedding in tubs
I built a rack similar to Halfdawg's just a smaller version of it and it's finally set with humidity and temperature so it's ready to take on some residents.:partyon:

Also, Fluffy is finally showing the signs of shed after 2 1/2 months of having her. Anyways, since I noticed she was ready to shed, I got to thinking: I noticed that in almost everyone's rack pics, there are no rough surfaces to help the snakes shed. I've read in various caresheets that they're somewhat necessary so what's your guys take on this? Can I move fluffy into her tub now while she's in shed? Do I need to include something in her tub that she can rub against?

All that mine have ever had is their hides and water bowl. Nothing rough. I have never had anything but full sheds. So in my experience, something rough is not needed.

if the humidity is right it will come off without any problem.
