how much should a female spider ball python cost that weighs about 500g and is 50% het for orange ghost? just wondering if im paying too much.

It really depends on what it is worth to you! My gut tells me around $600-800... but I'm always willing to pay more for an exceptional animal!

They'll be diff prices according to the value of the animal to the seller.
Best way to check prices, is to check all the sellers of that morph(kingsnake, breeder webpages, etc etc) and see what everyone's prices are. Keep in mind the integrity of the seller might up the price for you, instead of buying the cheap one from Joe Scammer online.
