size of enclosure for adult bp?
I have a young bp that is about 20 inches long and as thick as a d battery. I saw a cool looking terrarium at the pet store today is 18x18x18 is that big enough for an adult ball ?

No it won't be, also keep in mind that floor space is more important than height.

    Ideally you want a 30 gallons tank for an adult (L: 36.00  W: 18.00  H: 12.00)

The tubs I'm planning on getting for the move from juvenile to adult are 17.75" x 33.5" x 5.25" ...comes out to about 30 qts

If you're thinking of a tank, look at reptile cages instead. One of these: http://www.reptilebasics.com/2x3-Cag...h-p-16286.html is perfect for a ball forever. I have these cages (a bunch of them) to put my females in (I have racks for males and young ones). They are great cages and keep stable temps and humidity. Check 'em out!
