    What comes first...glowing or preshed?
I have a female who has locked up with one of my males several times over the past few months. Recently her head has become significantly lighter in color. She almost looks like a cinny. She hasnt had her preshed yet tho...is this perhaps a sign of her preshed coming on?

They glow before they go - according to the Markus Jayne site.

Echo's glowing - so I'm watching for ovulation now, then the pre-lay shed.

Is there a ballpark number for the time frame between the glowing and prelay shed?

No - generally the countdown starts from ovulation to pre-lay shed.
