My willpower is nonexistant.
So I happened upon the shop where my roommate got his ball python. I was content to look, until the shop owner plunked this wonderful snake into my hand. He was a 1 and a half year old with a beautiful reduced pattern and a fabulous disposition. He flicked his tongue at me for a minute, and curled up happily. I was in love.
Needless to say, I bought him, and the shop owner is holding him for me until I can get my setup ready. I still don't have a name for him. But I do have a picture. It's me, the snake, and my son going "OMG WHAT'S OVER THERE?!"

He is beautiful! And good for you to make sure you get his set-up all together and regulated before bringing him home!

Awesome! Where in Ohio are you?
I have a similarly reduced normal male. At first, I thought I liked normals better because they're so much cheaper, but I think I genuinely prefer the coloration. Especially the more understated looking ones.

Talk about lacking will power. We only had one at the beginning of the year. We now have 4 here and 5 on the way! Should have seen the look on my face the wifey told me she just plunked down $750 on a pair of Het Pieds. :8: Then she said I had to have the rack system complete this week end. Well the rack system is complete and some of them will be here on Tuesday.

Around Dayton. :) I have a few friends in Yellow Springs who are ball python owners, too. :D

He's home! :D :D
His size surprised the other ball python fans in the house... they're used to babies, not big guys like Levi (the name I finally chose). I took him out of his come-home box to say hello, and he crawled up my arm and situated himself around my neck, and is looking over my right shoulder. Seems very content. :)
I'll post pictures in a bit, before I put him in his enclosure to get used to it. That is, if we can find any cameras or Jason's phone charges. :D
I am SO happy.
